… the starting point- three drawings made with ink and graphite powder on perforated paper. 
In fresco painting, a composition is traditionally transferred onto fresh plaster using ‘spolvero’—
a full-scale preparatory drawing on thin paper, perforated along its contours. Once the paper is placed against the wall, charcoal or graphite powder is dusted through the tiny holes. 
The image appears not as a line, but as a dispersed trace: a faint constellation of dots that maps the figure’s outline and guides the painter’s hand.
The holes, traces, are translated into a screen printed grid. From one grid and dotted pattern into an other….
